Dog License Renewal
Dogs must be licensed annually during the month of January. All Dogs – seven months of age or older – are required by New Jersey
law to be licensed and vaccinated for rabies. There is also a limit on the number of dogs and cats that are permitted in a residence.Any
residence may contain only a total of six dogs or cats altogether, except that a litter or portion there-of may be kept for a period
of five months without a permit issued by the board of health annually.
Dog owners may apply in person at the Municipal Building on Delanco Road. The fee for neutered/spayed dogs between January 1st to
the 31st$13.00, non-neutered/non-spayed is $16.00; after January 31st fees are $14.00 and $17.00 respectively.Proof of current rabies,
which shall be current by November 1st of the licensing year, is required for each license.Proof of neutering or spaying if not previously
received by the Township is also required.Registration by mail is permissible by submitting a check, made payable to the Township
of Edgewater Park, with proofs required and a SELF ADDRESSED STAMPED ENVELOPE. You may also come in person to the Clerk’s Office.
Licenses may be obtained Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
