Township Administrator: Full Time - Edgewater Park Twp.
The Township is seeking an experienced and qualified leader with strong management, communication, and collaboration skills for a municipality with a population of 9617, consisting of 2.92 square miles and an annual budget of approximately 13 million dollars. This position will be available February 1, 2027 due to the retirement of the current administrator, with the expectation of a reasonable transitional overlap. The Township Administrator serves at the will of the Township Committee and is responsible for the day-to-day management of municipal operations including but not limited to matters of personnel and oversight of all department heads, budget preparation, grant funding, acting as a liaison between the governing body and the public/businesses. The ideal candidate must have an understanding of New Jersey municipal government, budgeting, purchasing, public contracts, personnel administration, NJ civil service, collective bargaining, risk management, redevelopment/planning matters, grants and capital planning. Attendance at regular Township Committee meetings currently held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month, as well as any special meetings are required, meeting days are subject to change. The Township Administrator candidate must have a minimum of 3 years’ progressively responsible experience in local government administration or comparable public sector management experience. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college is required (Masters in Public Administration is preferred). Salary range is $95,000 to $135,000 depending on qualifications and experience. Tax Assessor – Edgewater Park Township
Seeking experienced Part-Time Tax Assessor with Certified Tax Assessor (CTA) license. 2,750 line items consisting of residential, commercial and farmland properties. Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of local assessment practices, including, but not limited to, maintaining assessment records, revaluation and reassessments, property tax deductions and exemptions, added and omitted assessments, farmland assessment, tax map revisions, inspecting, listing & measuring properties, preparation of 200’ lists, and OPRA requests. Knowledge of BRT for MOD IV, CAMA system, tax appeals and various reports.
Must possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with the public and other municipal departments. Salary range $9,000 to $24,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Clerk Typist, EDGEWATER PARK TOWNSHIP –

Part-time position. Perform various clerical duties within the township. Salary range depending on experience $16-21 per hour approximately 25 hours per week. Computer and Microsoft applications required. Duties include but are not limited to answering phones, scanning, sorting mail, processing applications and payments, assisting customers and assisting various departments with clerical duties. Preferred knowledge of municipal software programs and website management. Preferred Bilingual in Spanish and/or Turkish. Edgewater Park is an EOE and is Civil Service. CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER - EDGEWATER PARK TOWNSHIP. Part-time approximately 26 hours a week with a salary range depending on experience $25-$29 per hour. Duties shall include, but not be limited to, Code Enforcement, annual rental housing inspections and lead inspections. Applicants must possess a valid NJ driver’s license and must pass a criminal background check, drug screening and be willing to obtain lead inspector and ICC Fire Inspector certifications. The successful candidate must be able to conduct field inspections, investigate and enforce various Township municipal codes, appear and testify in municipal court, coordinate inspections with other public agencies, inspect for property maintenance code violation and prepare and issue violation notices/summons, perform detailed annual rental inspections, receive complaints and follow up with inspections and violations, maintain detailed records, provide reports. Must have 1 year experience in conducting inspections/investigations to detect violations and ensure compliance with laws, rules and regulations. Must have knowledge of municipal rules and ordinances and ability to apply correctly. The successful individual will need strong communication and organizational skills and computer proficiency; knowledge of SDL program is preferred. Salary commensurate with experience. Endeavor is one of 185 EMS agencies in the United States accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services. Team Endeavor services Burlington City, Burlington Township, Edgewater Park Township, Beverly City and part of Springfield Township with one to three ambulances daily, based on call volume.
